Find the Loophole

Move a few crates through varied workshops, catch a greedy robot at its blind spot, then verify the route it missed.

Rules

  1. Select an orange crate, then an empty marked pad. Workshop shapes and exits vary. Crates are limited; fixed walls, the start and the exit cannot hold crates.
How it works: Top-down control diagram: move the orange crate from the lower pad to the pad above. The right panel shows the same 5-column, 4-row workshop: the orange robot trace stops, while the blue route still connects the start to the teal exit. This is a diagram, not a gameplay screenshot.
  2. The robot considers only unvisited orthogonal neighbors. It chooses the smallest horizontal-plus-vertical grid distance to the exit, ignoring walls farther ahead. If necessary, its next move may go farther from the exit.
  3. Distance ties use physical up, right, down, left, regardless of language. The robot never revisits a tile. It is stuck only when it has no candidate.
  4. Make the actual robot get stuck while a route from start to exit still exists. Sealing every route does not win; letting the robot reach the exit does not win either.
  5. Once it is stuck, choose Verify another route. A real shortest-path search finds a route, then shows it in blue tile by tile. Next unlocks only after the full route reaches the exit. Orange marks the robot’s trace.
  6. Middle-drag to rotate and use the wheel to zoom. Drag to pan; pinch on touchscreens. Focus and zoom buttons also move the view. Overview is view-only; return to controls to move crates.
  7. Default keys: arrows move focus, Enter selects or places, R runs or verifies, N steps, Z undoes or edits. Settings lets you reassign all eight actions without duplicate keys. Touch buttons do the same jobs. Holding a key does not repeat steps. Two hints explain without placing answers.
  8. Local progress saves verified levels, unlocks, the continue level, sound, reduced motion and key settings. Refreshing restarts this level from its initial layout; crate positions and playback are not saved. Old records are preserved and the new workshop saves separately. You can play if saving fails. Short sounds start muted. Pause, backgrounding or opening rules requires explicit Continue.
