✳ Tiny Joy Lab

Rules

  1. The dock’s order and deadline are public. Build a line from mineral seams to the shipping dock. Campaign has six chapters of six contracts; the current factory resets at each contract, while chapter upgrades remain.
  2. Pause to build or edit. Belts take cargo from behind or either side and move it along their arrow, one cell per half-second tick. A dusty belt waits one extra tick. Tap an occupied cell to inspect it; Turn rotates its output.
  3. A drill extracts its seam’s ore or crystal. Furnaces make 1 ore → 1 ingot, or 1 ore + 1 crystal → 1 alloy. A press makes 1 ingot → 1 plate. Assembly: plate + alloy → module; module + crystal → core; core + alloy → beacon. Select a machine’s recipe explicitly.
How it works: Ore → furnace → ingot → press → plate → dock. Each arrow is a real output direction; the generator powers working machines.
  4. A splitter alternates between its arrow and its clockwise branch, using the other exit if one is blocked. It accepts from the other two sides. A merger takes cargo from behind or either side and holds up to three pieces. Machines accept required ingredients from any side, with space reserved for each ingredient.
  5. Electricity reaches the whole board. Generators add 4 power; drills use 1, furnaces and presses 2, assemblers 3 while working. When supply is short, rotating priority gives machines turns. Later sectors have public dust, eclipse, columns, cold or power pulses.
  6. Dismantling refunds equipment, but discards its material. Undo reverses the last construction decision at today’s equipment cost; it never restores consumed, shipped or discarded material. Changing a recipe also discards the old contents.
  7. Ship the requested goods before the departure deadline. Complete a chapter to choose one permanent campaign benefit: funds, power or buffers. Star ratings reward quicker layouts; retrying is always available with normal contract funds.
  8. Free factory accepts every product and earns funds from deliveries. The UTC daily has an independent factory. Menus, rules and hidden pages pause production. There is no offline production; saves are local, and stale tabs cannot silently replace a newer factory.
