✳ Tiny Joy Lab

Rules

  1. Move left and right, chain three punches, or wind up a guard-breaking heavy. Dodge dashes with brief invulnerability. Burst costs 60 energy and hits both sides nearby. Hits, defeats and pickups earn energy, capped at 100.
  2. Touch the six controls. Keyboard: A/D or ←/→ move, J/Space punch, K heavy, L dodge, U burst, P pause. Each attack needs a fresh press; tap again to chain. Quick presses have a short input buffer.
  3. Orange ground frames show a locked enemy attack. Move out or dodge during the windup; it will not suddenly track you. Guards block frontal punches. A heavy breaks the guard for 3 seconds; interrupting an ordinary enemy cancels its windup.
How it works: Leave the locked orange range with a dodge; a heavy opens shields for 3 seconds.
  4. Runners charge, throwers launch visible projectiles, and sappers leave delayed floor traps. Six bosses have two phases with sweeps, charges, shields, eruptions, pulls/leaps and combined shock attacks. Watch for II and fresh warnings.
  5. Each district has clearing, escort/defence, timed crate-breaking and a boss. Escort carts advance only with you nearby and no nearby enemy. A destroyed protected object loses. Timed stages require all enemies and both diamond-marked crates.
  6. Crates block movement. Break them for marked health, energy or stamina pickups, collected by walking close. Warned street hazards also hurt enemies. Being hit grants brief invulnerability to limit crowd damage.
  7. Choose the next stage’s style: Rhythm earns more energy on the third punch but heavies cost more; Breaker hits harder and slower but has two punches; Footwork dodges cheaply but hits less hard. Spend coins to repair 30 health or add 30 energy. A win restores up to 8 health.
  8. The campaign has 24 stages; a fixed UTC daily has a separate save. A retry costs 20 starting coins, restores the stage’s starting resources and discards its earnings. Menus, rules, hidden pages and loaded saves pause until Resume. Progress stays on this device.
